Meditation and Psychotherapy

Meditation increases our ability to tolerate the rough and tumble of every day life, reduces stress, enhances focus, and helps develope greater awareness of the relationship between our thoughts, our feelings and our behavior. Not everyone wants to committ to a regular, formal meditation practice. But you can still make use of the tools of meditation and learn to apply them in your daily life. Mental health is primarily about attitude. Learning to free ourselves from the mental states that interfere with our ability to find that attitude - of openess, clarity and firm intention is an essential component of therapy.

The tradition of meditation practice and the tools that meditators learn can help you in your daily life. My meditation practice enables me to help you to learn more about how the three key elements of mental health; Awareness, Acceptance and Accountability can bring you greater happiness.
